Supporting with joy
Dear supporters,
15,000 students from over 100 countries are currently enrolled in four major departments at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. They learn and conduct research in a practice-oriented and interdisciplinary manner in an international environment and experience diversity in their studies. In this way, they are already developing the skills they will need in their professional lives after graduation: working in culturally and internationally diverse teams.
Support for students
We want to support students in their diversity and with their very different personal circumstances in their studies. Alongside the teaching staff, they are the core of Frankfurt UAS, and we accompany and encourage them in their further development. Education is the gateway to personal development and forms the basis for social and economic participation. Education and personal development therefore go hand in hand at Frankfurt UAS. We want to support and motivate students to pursue both goals.
We award our graduate prizes to the most committed students: each semester, we honour one graduate from each department. In addition to good academic performance, the selection criteria also include personal development, overcoming social or gender-specific barriers, and/or social or political engagement at Frankfurt UAS.
Support for teachers and staff
Innovative achievements in teaching, research and continuing education are recognised, as are special achievements in the development of the university. We award the Innovation Prize once a year. This prize recognises personal commitment and achievements that are of particular significance to the university or open up new perspectives for it.
Network of companies, institutions, alumni and emeriti
Our Support Association brings together entrepreneurs, representatives of institutions, associations and private individuals, alumni and emeriti who feel connected to Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and demonstrate and reinforce this connection through their membership.
