Frankfurt Foundation for Research and Education

A strong statement for the future!

The Frankfurt Foundation for Research and Education was established in 2014 with the aim of promoting teaching, research and education for the lecturers and almost 16,000 students at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. In addition to supporting the research of professors and lecturers, the foundation aims to promote students' learning processes by providing optimal conditions and visionary projects. This enables them to start their professional lives well prepared in their chosen field. The foundation also supports young people in their personal development and motivates them to engage in responsible social commitment.

The foundation supports the university in all four departments:

What we do

Funding for laboratory and workshop equipment, e.g. acoustic room for sound recordings
Funding for individual scientific projects, e.g. Chlorine Water Worlds project
Funding for lectures and seminars, e.g. lecture on dealing with social media
Funding for the Balu und Du project – equal opportunities and educational justice for primary school children through student mentors
Awarding of the Sustain Award, worth EUR 4,000
