INC 2016

International Network Conference 2016

In retrospect...

More than 100 participants from 20 nations worlwide experienced the INC 2016 & HAISA 2016 Conference at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences as a real “hot event” – with summerlike temperatures…

The INC 2016 started daily with keynote talks: „Future Trends in Communication Networks“, presented by Dr. Walter Häffner, Vodafone – on Tuesday, as well as “IoT – different access technologies, different business models – who really needs it and does it pay off?“, presented by Thomas Lentz, IBM – on Wednesday. The HAISA 2016 starting Keynote talk „The role of the ICT professional in information security“ was presented by Leon Strous, IFIP President.

Varied interesting presentations (INC: 22 + 8 Poster | HAISA: 27) lead to continuously frequented sessions (INC: 9 | HAISA: 9), challenging the condition of the participants as well as claiming the air conditioning of the rooms of the BCN Tower to its  threshold range..

The Get Together of the participants on Tuesday exploring the Frankfurt city centre using the historic tram Ebbelwei Express spent Sachsenhausen flair enjoying regionally typical culinary art in the Restaurant Eichkatzerl endowing real Frankfurt feelings…

The Conference Dinner on Wednesday again lead to Sachsenhausen enjoying the restaurant Döpfner’s im Maingau offering a varied attractive buffet. Besides the awarding of the best conference papers as well as the appreciation of the session and conference chairs, the Frankfurt Magician Julius Zier showed perplexing insights in his craft combined with charming magic moments…

In such a mix the INC 2016 / HAISA 2016 Conference provided inspiring days sharing expertise and joint experience between the participants – creating the desire to meet again joining a future INC & HAISA event…

Great thanks to all contributing to make this Conference successful!
