Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences
The Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, a state university, was founded in 1971. Predecessor institutions go back to 1908. Our claim "Wissen durch Praxis stärkt" emphasizes the relation between practical application and theoretical teaching and studies. The university is organized in four faculties and 16 institutes as well as centers. The name of our university claims the great importance of internationality for our institution. The more than 15,000 students belong to more than 100 nations. Of all the students, approximately one third is enrolled in Faculty two, Computer Science and Engineering, where the Summer Course takes place.
