Find Your Path – Through Mentoring, Guidance and Insights into the World of Work
Are you wondering what comes after university? Would you like to explore different career opportunities, gain insights into a range of professional fields, or connect with people who are willing to share their experiences?
In our mentoring programme, experienced mentors support you on your journey from university into working life. They share insights into their professional and personal paths, offer practical experience and help you gain direction, explore your questions and find your own way forward.
The programme is designed especially for international students and students with migration experience. German students are also very welcome to apply.
What are the benefits of taking part?
As a mentee, you can:
- gain insights into different professional fields and working environments
- benefit from the experience of established professionals
- ask questions about your studies, career orientation and entering the job market
- explore which pathways and opportunities suit you best
- gain guidance for your next steps
- expand your network and build valuable connections
- meet other students and exchange experiences
- take part in workshops, events and networking opportunities
You do not need to have a specific career goal or detailed plan yet – the programme is here to help you gain direction and discover new perspectives.
You Decide: One-on-One or Group Mentoring
You can choose the format that suits you best:
One-on-One Mentoring
You will be matched with a suitable mentor based on your interests and goals. During one-on-one meetings, you can discuss topics that matter to you – such as career orientation, entering the job market, different professional fields, personal goals or challenges you may be facing.
The mentoring experience is tailored to your individual interests and needs. Meetings are arranged flexibly between mentor and mentee and usually take place every two weeks.
Group Mentoring
In Group Mentoring, a mentor from a company, organisation or start-up supports a small group of students (4–6 participants). Each group is linked to a specific company or organisation.
Together, you will gain practical insights, learn about different areas of work and regularly exchange ideas and experiences with the other students. Generally, one company visit takes place each month. Dates are communicated in advance and attendance is mandatory.
Additional one-on-one or group meetings with the company contact person can also be arranged if desired.
We are currently in discussions with interested companies, organisations and start-ups for the upcoming programme cycle. We put a great deal of care into matching groups with suitable practice partners. It therefore helps us enormously if you provide as much detail as possible in your application about the industries, topics or professional fields you are interested in. This allows us to create the best possible match and provide relevant insights.
Who is the programme for?
The programme is for you if you…
- study at one of our partner universities (more information can be found at www.ics-rm.de)
- see your professional future in the Rhine-Main region
- are looking for career guidance and practical insights
- would like to connect with experienced professionals
- are open to meeting new people and trying new things
- are reliable and willing to actively participate throughout the full three-month programme period
Participation is free of charge and supported by our team.
Programme period: 1 October – 31 December 2026
Application period: 15 June – 15 July 2026
Please note
We receive more applications than places available. Please take your time when completing the application form and answer the questions as honestly and thoroughly as possible. This helps us better understand where you currently are, what you are looking for and whether the programme is a good fit for you.
After reviewing all applications, selected candidates will be invited to a short online introductory meeting (approximately 30 minutes).
In September 2026, a compulsory two-day kick-off workshop will take place at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. The date will be announced well in advance. If you do not attend, we reserve the right to offer your place to another applicant.
We deliberately take time to get to know both mentees and mentors. Matches are carefully selected by hand to create the most suitable mentoring partnerships possible – one of the reasons why our mentoring programme works so well.
CaMen creates encounters and opportunities.
