Frankfurt‘s High-rise Façade Days 2013

Conversion Renovation Densification

The current, clearly visible construction measures on the Henninger Turm are described in Frankfurt with these three keywords. Those three terms not only stand for the handling of existing buildings but generally for new construction projects in the intra-urban area.

In the 5th edition of the Frankfurt high-rise façade days on the 8th of November 2013, many projects from Frankfurt as well as Germany and abroad, with focus on the solutions developed and implemented for the building envelope, were presented. Besides the Henninger Turm, the recently modernized Poseidon Haus near the Messe Frankfurt was presented in-depth with regard to conversion, façade engineering and constructional interventions. The need-oriented advancement of innovative high-rise and façade solutions, new façade systems and the use of innovative materials rounded the topic area of this year’s high-rise façade days off. Tours through high-rises in Frankfurt were offered on the second day.
