Frankfurt Welding and Corrosion Protection Meeting

The regularly held meeting pursues the goal of presenting the difficulties of steelwork construction and production as well as discussing possible solutions with experts.

Steelworks has been in an upheaval in the past decades concerning fabrication and assembly. New European norms like EN 1993 (EC 3) for dimensioning and construction, as well as EN 1090 for welding, are new milestones. The current production, especially in neighboring foreign countries, causes a higher effort in quality assurance measures.
