Exchange Students
Each year more than 80 incoming students study at our department. Our programs provide a wide range of different courses in the area of Business Administration and Business Law. You can collect real intercultural experience studying together with our domestic students.

We offer Tracks from 2 different Bachelor Programs. More details under the topic Faculty of Business and Law on the website from the International Office "English Taught Course Choices for Exchange Students".
Students with good German language skills (TestDaF =/> 14 points) can choose courses in German. Please refer to the individual module handbooks (Modulhandbuch), on the individual page of our preferred study program.
You can choose modules from our offered programs regardless of the recommended semester but they must be out of the same study program as you can only enroll in one Bachelor Program. The recommended semester provides an indication of the degree of difficulty and the appropriate level of experience you should bring with you for the respective academic field.
Graduate exchange students from our partner universities can choose from our Master Program.
Our program for graduate students "Strategic Information Management (M.Sc.)" provides 30 ECTS of English taught lectures each Winter Semester. More English taught courses are available in the Master Programs "Leadership (M.Sc.)", "Accounting and Finance (M.Sc.)" and "Global Logistics (M.Sc.)".

Prior to the lecture period, a four-week German language course takes place (5 ECTS). More German and other language courses are available throughout the semester.

We recommend you take the average workload of 30 ECTS per semester. As an exchange student you must complete a minimum of 20 ECTS. Unless specified otherwise, each Module is 5 ECTS. At least 3 Modules have to be academic courses offered by our department. You can only choose complete modules! You may drop 1-3 courses from your chosen track and add 1-3 courses from the Language Center.

Degree Seeking
Most of our Undergraduate and Master Programs offer some courses in English, but for a full degree, you will need to match the German Language requirements. The Faculty of Business and Law offers three degree programs that are taught entirely in English: the Master in Global Logistics (MSc.) , the MBA in Aviation and Tourism Management and the MBA Sustainable Business Development. Important Dates for winter semester 2023/24
Orientation Program at the Department: 11th October 2023
Please note the compulsory German course will begin before the business courses start at the department.
Deadline for Changes of Learning Agreements: 15th November 2023
Online Examination Registration please register by: Please check the deadlines of the respective study programs.
You can withdraw online from registered examination up to three working days prior to the exam date.
Different deadlines may apply to course work and presentations. Please check with your lecturer!
Examination Period for the winter semester 2023/24: 5th - 24th February 2024
The academic year is divided into two semesters.
Our International Office organizes the Frankfurt Loves You Program and assigns you to a Buddy.
A 4-week intensive German Course (5 ECTS) is also part of this program. A mandatory information event and a two-day orientation program will take place at the start of the lectures.

You will have to prepare your own individual schedule. For language courses please see the program of the language centre (may be subject to changes please contact the language centre directly).
Be careful to take all units of the chosen module. Some modules have more than one component.
