International Week: Faculty 4 hosts guests from around the world

Faculty 4: Social Work and Health was pleased to be able to welcome guests from around the world to Frankfurt during the 26th International Week (IW) from May 9-13. After two years of the pandemic, it was a privilege to be able to engage with many of the participating lecturers and leadership from partner universities of the faculty in person on our campus once again.

Over the course of the week, lecturers from India, Namibia, Morocco, Jordan, South Africa, Malaysia and the USA provided input on a wide range of topics, including working with children and youth, professional ethics and methods in social work, migration, diversity, healthcare, project management and many others. In total, 30 guest lectures were incorporated into regular modules, whether online or in person. Outside of these, networking opportunities were offered for students, staff and guests to exchange with one another. You can view the student program here. A heartfelt thank you to all of our guests for the participation!

We are already looking forward to the next International Week from November 14-18, 2022 on the topic of “Meeting Challenges Across Borders”. For more information, please visit the website of the International Weeks of Faculty 4. Hope to see you there!
