The degree course Business Law conveys you the competence to apply legal and economic expert knowledge to complex questions of economic life and develop interdisciplinary solutions. You will also learn to familiarize yourself with new areas of expertise and special questions method-based and how to professionally present work results.
The LL.B. program in Business Law comprises 60% law, 30% economics and 10% key qualifications.

Duration of studies and admission requirements
The degree course takes seven semesters and can be started in the summer and winter semester of each year. The admission requirements are a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, or the general higher education entrance qualification. Accreditation and degree
- The degree course Business law entails 210 ECTS credits and is accredited by ZEvA .
- After a successful graduation from your degree course, you will be granted a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), which will allow you under certain conditions to further advance your studies by choosing the three-semester long master's degree course „Verhandeln und Gestalten von Verträgen – Negotiating and Designing Contracts (LL.M.)“.

The admission deadline for the receipt of the application ends on January 15 for the summer semester and on July 15, for the winter semester. For the random study place allocation a separate and informal application must be submitted. The application period starts two weeks prior to the begin of the lectures of the respective semester and ends on the day of the begin of the lectures of the respective semester.
Possible fields of action are particularly in the legal and sales departments of trade, service and industrial corporations, in banks, management and human resources consultancies, tax consultancies, audit firms and in large law firms.
