What is ECOrner?

ECOrner is an initiative by the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences for students.

We support students as they start their careers by providing free business clothing for job interviews, internships, career fairs, and first jobs.

The clothing is donated by companies and individuals, carefully prepared, and then passed on to students. In this way, ECOrner combines equal opportunity with sustainability.

The project is part of MIA - "Mobility, Integration, Alumni Work for International Skilled Worker Retention" at Frankfurt UAS and is funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus).

By passing on well-preserved clothing, resource waste is reduced, and a sustainable approach to clothing is promoted.

Our services

So funktioniert's:

1. Find suitable business clothing at ECOrner for your professional occasions.

 

2. Try on the clothes on-site and find the pieces that fit you best.

 

Upon request, we also offer free application photos.

3. Take the selected garments with you free of charge.

4. If you have well-preserved business attire that you no longer wear, you can donate it to ECOrner and support other students.

 

How donating works

1. Select clothing

Whether from a company or your own wardrobe – select well-preserved business attire that you no longer need.

2. Arrange Drop-off

Bring the clothing directly to ECOrner (Building 10, Room 111) or arrange a pickup date with us via email.

3. Help Students

With your donation, you support students with internships, job interviews, and launching their careers.

What can be donated?

We accept clean, well-preserved business clothing in all sizes and for all genders:

  • Blazers, jackets, and suits
  • Blouses, dress shirts, and trousers/slacks
  • Business dresses and skirts
  • Coats and jackets
  • Bags, belts, and matching accessories
     

Yes, the clothing is free. 

 

No, you do not need to return the clothing. You can keep it or bring it back clean after use.

Currently, you can find us every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the university for donations. For personal donation appointments, please email us.

Yes! We appreciate any donation from individuals as well as companies. Please email us if you wish to coordinate an appointment.

For donations outside of our opening hours (Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), you need an appointment. Please keep in mind that the official opening of ECOrner is in the winter semester 26/27. Right now, we are only receiving donations.

For donations, yes. Students will be able to browse and take business clothing home starting in the winter semester 26/27. We will announce future opening hours on this website.
