Scholarships

In general
Especially study applicants hope to be able to cover the costs of their studies with a scholarship. However, scholarships for Bachelor's degree programs are granted rarely in Germany. So, if you are looking for a scholarship, you should first find out before you enter Germany whether you have a chance of receiving funding of your home country for your studies (e.g. via a government scholarship).

Increase the chances
Like other German universities, Frankfurt UAS cannot offer you a scholarship for an entire degree program. And the institutions that offer scholarships in Germany usually do not regulate the awarding of scholarships based solely on performance and need. Since these institutions are usually organizations in the environment of political parties, churches or associations, you should be actively involved in these organizations or be in line with their goals.

Since scholarship providers usually provide special support for education after a first degree leading to a professional qualification, the chances of receiving a scholarship are much better for Master's students. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), for example, makes it possible to apply for a Master's scholarship even before moving to Germany.

"Deutschlandstipendium"
The "Deutschlandstipendium" (German Scholarship) supports first-year students as well as students in the standard period of study whose background indicates outstanding achievements in their studies and career with 300 euros per month for one year.

You can find more information on the following page: Deutschlandstipendium.
