Disclaimer
For simplicity, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences will be referred to as ‘the University’ in the following. The following disclaimer applies to the websites managed and maintained by the University. The respective authors are responsible for affiliated and externally maintained websites.
1. Content of the online offering
The university accepts no responsibility for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the university relating to material or immaterial damage, in particular consequential damage, caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information are excluded, unless there is evidence of wilful intent or gross negligence on the part of the university.
All offers are subject to change and non-binding. The university expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer without separate announcement, or to temporarily or permanently cease publication.
2. References and links
Direct or indirect references to external websites (‘links’) that are outside the university's area of responsibility are external offers over whose content the university has no influence. Liability would only arise in the event that the university was aware of the content and it would be technically possible and reasonable for it to prevent use in the event of illegal content.
The university therefore expressly declares that at the time the links were created, the linked pages were free of illegal content. The university has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design and content of the linked pages. It therefore hereby expressly distances itself from all content on all linked/connected pages that has been changed since the link was created. This statement applies to all links and references within the university's own website as well as to external entries in guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists set up by the university. The provider of the page to which reference is made is solely liable for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and in particular for damage resulting from the use or non-use of such information, not the person who merely refers to the respective publication via links.
Should legal violations or other inappropriate content be noticed on a linked page, please notify us so that the link can be deleted.
3. Copyright and trademark law
The university endeavours to observe the copyrights of the graphics, audio files, video sequences and texts used in all publications, to use graphics, audio files, video sequences and texts created by itself or to make use of licence-free graphics, audio files, video sequences and texts.
All brands and trademarks mentioned on the website and possibly protected by third parties are subject without restriction to the provisions of the applicable trademark law and the ownership rights of the respective registered owners. The mere mention of a trademark does not imply that it is not protected by the rights of third parties!
The copyright for published objects created by the university itself remains solely with the university. Any reproduction or use of such graphics, audio files, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the express consent of the university. The layout of the homepage and websites and the graphics used as well as other content are protected by copyright.
