International Office

Would you like to study with a higher education entrance qualification you attained abroad? You can receive information with respect to the entry to the higher education institution and the respective admission criteria from the International Office.

We can also provide information on how to apply and what language skills are required.

Family Office

The Family Office is there to help with regards to questions about the reconciliation of studies, profession and family. It is point of contact and counseling for all members of this institution of higher education with child or relatives requiring care. We are counseling in topics such as maternity leave, parental leave, part-time studies vacation semester, child care and many more.

Furthermore, the Family Office helps the departments and faculties in the development and implementation of family-friendly structures.

Studying with a disability

Studying with a disability, an impairment, a chronic or a psychological condition often means a greated need of information and organization and requires more time.

Our offers are intended for prospective students, first-semester students and students, who seek counselling and support in designing, organizing and completing their studies.

Learning and competence development

The self-access center has 400 study places at our institution of higher education which can be accessed on 6 days a week from 10 a.m. till 10 p.m.
Offers to support learning: weekly help desk about the topics mathematics and scientific work (during the ongoing semester). In addition, special topics such as certain areas of mathematics, for instance algorithms or matrix calculations are offered by mathematical didactic staff.

Career counseling by the employment agency

Career advisors of the employment agency of the city of Frankfurt/Main offer an open office hour every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. on the campus of the Frankfurt UAS (BCN, room 813): for instance with respect to questions about labor market orientation, labor market perspectives, application strategies and about application procedures. If you are skeptical of your intended studies, we can help find a professional training post or provide counsel with respect to changes of degree courses and institutions of higher education within the Federal Republic of Germany. A registration is not required.
