The Support Association's Innovation Award is presented annually. It is endowed with €2,000. The award is given to university employees who have distinguished themselves through
- personal commitment
- achievements that are not (only) related to personal profile, but which also benefit the university as an outstanding teaching and research institution or are of particular importance to the university,
- ideas that open up new perspectives for the university.
The following are awarded every three years:
- outstanding teaching in undergraduate and continuing education,
- special research and transfer achievements,
- special achievements in the development of the university, the implementation of the mission statemen and outstanding sustainable proposals within the framework of the suggestion scheme.
The award is presented once a year on a three-year rotation, beginning in 2012 with the Innovation Award for special achievements in the development of the university,
the implementation of the mission statement and outstanding innovative proposals within the framework of the suggestion scheme at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
The university management is entitled to submit proposals.
