The three bee colonies on the roof of Building 4 were again hardworking this year – around 22kg of honey was harvested! The campus bees contribute to increase biodiversity on the campus by pollinating plants and can be observed from the stairwell on the 2nd floor.
The bee sponsorships from last year were used to finance the necessary purchases for the bee colonies, beekeeping equipment, new beehives and winter feed. To ensure that the project can continue in its third year, the BüroN / Sustainability Office is once again awarding bee sponsorships.
If you would like to support the "Campus Bees" project and become a bee sponsor, please complete the form below and send it to the Stabsstelle Nachhaltigkeit.
Once we have received your payment of €25, you will receive a certificate and a jar of honey from the campus bees.
Please note that donation receipts cannot be issued.
