Graduation Assistance for International Students

The support is intended for international students in the final phase of their studies. The grants are primarily intended to protect exam candidates from financial hardship. A selection committee consisting of professors and employees of Frankfurt UAS decides on the allocation and amount of the scholarships

First and foremost, the grant is awarded for the semester in which the thesis is written. As a rule, 3 months are funded.

Who is entitled:  Support is given to international students who are in the last or second to last semester who register for the thesis in the next semester.

Application period and deadline: 

  • for summer semester start from the 01th of November,deadline is the 20th of January (Extended until 01.02.2025)
  • for winter semester start from the 01th of May, deadline is the 20th of July

Please send the required documents by e-mail within the application deadline.

Application documents:

  • A current certificate of enrollment
  • Transcript of academic records
  • Statement about all exams still to be completed
  • If already available: admission for your final thesis (“Anmeldung zur Bachelorarbeit/Masterthesis”)
  • An up-to-date letter of recommendation from a university professor/lecturer
  • CV (Please list your educational history)
  • Copy of your current residence permit
  • Copies of bank account statements of the last six months (in case of married persons also documents of the spouse)
  • Proof of financial difficulties, e.g. evidence of rental payment, loans, salary payment, funding, debt etc.
  • Description of your financial situation, specifically how you have financed your studies up to now and what your monthly income is. If you live with your spouse, please indicate your spouse’s income.

Information consultation

For information and assistance with the application process, you are welcome to visit our information session on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to  5:00 pm. (Building 1, Room 02)

You do not need an appointment.
