The Academic Internationalization Directors are responsible for the strategic development of internationalization, recognition of academic achievements from abroad, and signing learning agreements for incoming and outgoing students.

The internationalization coordinator advises social work and healthcare students regarding recognition of courses and their learning agreements for a semester abroad, as well as academic advising for exchange students of the faculty. Advice on practical and organizational matters relating to stays abroad (application process, etc.) or for exchange students coming to Frankfurt is provided by the International Office.

International Committee

The International Committee is an advisory body of Faculty 4: Social Work and Health that reports to the faculty council and meets twice per semester to strategically promote internationalization of the social work and healthcare study programs.
Members include interested faculty, staff, and students from Faculty 4. The committee's goals and structure are outlined in more detail in the rules of procedure – these, along with a list of current members can be viewed internally via Confluence (content only in German). The two Academic Internationalization Directors chair the committee.

Goals and Strategy

Faculty 4: Social Work & Health aims to further develop internationalization in the areas of study and teaching, practice, and research. The internationalization strategy document will be published shortly.
