Promoting talent and commitment
The Germany Scholarship is a financial and non-material support programme for particularly high-achieving and socially committed students. The annual funding of €1,800 is provided by private sponsors. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research doubles this amount. This means that scholarship holders receive €300 per month.
This support enables young people to realise their potential and concentrate on their studies and voluntary work. The scholarship providers also benefit: they get to know future specialists and managers and cooperate with our research-oriented and practice-oriented departments.
Academic ceremony
Every year, we welcome around 100 new Germany Scholarship recipients and their sponsors with an academic ceremony. The university management invites guests from the business community, foundations, companies and private scholarship providers to a festive ceremony to award the scholarship certificates. The academic ceremony is a great enrichment and appreciation for all sponsors and Germany Scholarship recipients.
