Scholarships
Scholarships for Bachelor's degree programs are granted rarely in Germany. So, if you are looking for a scholarship, you should first find out before you enter Germany whether you have a chance of receiving funding of your home country for your studies (e.g. via a government scholarship).
Since scholarship providers usually provide special support for education after a first degree leading to a professional qualification, the chances of receiving a scholarship are much better for Master's students.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), for example, makes it possible to apply for a Master's scholarship even before moving to Germany.
"Deutschlandstipendium"
The "Deutschlandstipendium" (German Scholarship) supports first-year students as well as students in the standard period of study whose background indicates outstanding achievements in their studies and career with 300 euros per month for one year.
