U!REKA Staff Training Programme for teachers and researchers
Important step towards a learning community
U!REKA is launching a staff training programme for teaching staff, researchers and administrative staff at all partner universities. The current training courses focus on digital, green and integrative skills and are already being offered at the partner institutions. This raises the question of what the added value is when these courses are offered under the U!REKA banner. For Liesbet Gevaert (HOGENT) it is clear: ‘The participation of European partners is very enriching: they bring their own knowledge and experience and thus differentiate the input and insights.’ Eva Haug (Amsterdam UAS) adds: ‘It's about creating an ecosystem. For example, a workshop on the organisation of a COIL - Collaborative Online International Learning - is much more than just a teaching task: for successful implementation, we also need IT experts and colleagues who are familiar with international partnerships and who cooperate.’
All dates and programmes can be found here. The programme will be constantly supplemented and updated.
Innovation Professorships with a U!REKA focus
As part of U!REKA, we have established four innovation professorships. The selected professors reduce their teaching load by six semester hours for three years in order to dedicate themselves to specific U!REKA research topics or projects. You can gain an insight into their projects here. For contacts to our partner universities and ideas for collaboration, please contact our colleagues.
