Digital development is evident in all areas of life. Blended learning formats, which combine the advantages of online and classroom teaching, are ideal for learning goal-oriented didactics. Blended learning thus offers a flexible means of optimizing teaching and learning content through media-supported learning formats. Furthermore, in the sense of Open Educational Resources, the digitally supported learning materials can be used at different universities at the same time. An exchange by learners from different universities is made possible. These can build on an equivalent knowledge development and work in cooperative and problem-oriented learning settings. Teachers at universities can also use digital media to design and conduct cooperative teaching. These goals are being pursued by the Digital for Bus and Train (DigiBB) project with the design of two cooperative blended learning courses in the field of rail transport systems and public transport at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (Frankfurt UAS) and the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM).
