Campus festival with campus championship 2025

An exciting day-long event that combines sports, knowledge about Europe and team spirit.

On 26th June 2025, we will celebrate on campus with a variety of indoor and outdoor challenges!

In addition to the campus championship, we have set up other games in the ‘chill area,’ such as giant chess, table football, Connect Four, and activity stands with knowledge tests and games. Here, all university members can enjoy a great time together on our campus and learn interesting facts about U!REKA, the European idea, and the value of democracy. We will conclude the festival with an award ceremony, music and culinary delights. Be there – preferably as part of a team in the campus championship.

Campus championship

Want to join a team for the campus championship? A team consists of 3 to 5 members. Individual registrations are also possible, in which case CampusSport will look for teammates. If there are free slots, you can also register spontaneously on the day of the event. More information and registration (content only in German)

Music in the evening and afternoon activities

Aside from the campus championship, there will be smaller activities, music, drinks, and a chill-out area. Here, you can relax, chat with other students and staff over a drink, and end the evening with music.

The drinks and barbecue stand is organized by the AStA.

Fairtrade bars and other sweet snacks will be provided free of charge by the Central Event Management | CampusKultur - while stocks last.

In case of bad weather, we will use the hall and the foyer of building 4.

    Europe and democracy

Due to the current developments and challenges facing European societies politically, economically and socially, universities must now more than ever address the question of what contribution they will make in future to protecting European values.

With the playful approach and sporting activities during the campus festival, we are helping to strengthen the importance of democracy and democratic values in European society.

Promoting democracy is a central concern of our university: the School of Personal Development and Education (ScoPE) is also participating in the festival and offers events on topics such as political education and anti-discrimination during the semester. The International Office is represented with its U!REKA project, which focuses on exchange within the European Union. You can also find out more about the ERASMUS+ programme for university members and our partner universities

We are a European University and a Fairtrade University

Our university, together with five other European universities of applied sciences, forms the core of the U!REKA European University Alliance. Together with 24 other partners, we focus on climate-neutral cities and societies.

In addition to the goal of helping to shape the transition to climate-neutral cities and societies in Europe, all university members can use U!REKA to sharpen their own intercultural skills within a European framework, expand their language skills and benefit from new career prospects and exchange formats. During the festival, you will have the opportunity to find out more about what we offer, such as the U!REKA WEEK in autumn, the U!REKA Hackathon at Frankfurt UAS and our five partner universities in the U!REKA European University Alliance.

We have been a Fairtrade University since 2021 and therefore also attach great importance to sustainability, resource conservation and the principles of fair trade at the campus festival.
