World Poetry Day: celebrating the diversity of language as a cultural asset

March 21 was proclaimed World Poetry Day by UNESCO. This day has been celebrated every year since 2000 and is intended to remind people of the diversity of language as a cultural asset and the importance of oral traditions.

In cooperation with CampusKultur, we would like to celebrate the day with two exciting events:

Visit to the German Romantic Museum: 19.03.2024 | 2:45 pm or 3:30 pm

Discover the fascinating world of German Romanticism! Art, poetry and closeness to nature await you at the German Romantic Museum. Immerse yourself in a time full of emotion and inspiration.

Each participant can explore the museum on their own. There is a 30-minute guided tour at 3 pm which you can take part in if there are still places available.

There are two starting times:

Start 1: 2:45 pm, meeting point at the ticket office in the museum

  • With a bit of luck/depending on capacity, you can take part in the 30-minute guided tour at 3 pm. You can then stay in the exhibition until the museum closes at 6 pm.

Start 2: 3:30 pm, meeting point at the ticket office in the museum

  • If you have to work late or have other commitments, you can also start at 3:30 pm. You can then stay in the exhibition until the museum closes at 6 pm.

You can come to the ticket office at 2:45 pm or at 3:30 pm. A member of staff from CampusKultur or the Language Center will be waiting for you at these times and will regulate admission and give you some information about exploring the museum. You can find more information in the CampusKultur events calendar.
