Speexx: practice languages anytime, anywhere
The Language Center offers free online language training to all students and staff members of Frankfurt UAS: With the innovative and award-winning language learning software Speexx, you can improve your skills in listening and reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in the available languages according to your needs and at your own pace. Discover the flexibility of learning wherever you are and whenever you want: in the LanguageLab+, at home, during your semester abroad, or in your free time, all from the comfort of your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Speexx offers the following languages:

In the campUAS portal Speexx for Students you can find out how to register for Speexx.
If you are a staff member of the Frankfurt UAS and would like to use the Speexx online language training courses free of charge, you must register for this offer via the Human Resources Development department (Personalentwicklung). Please visit the following intranet page: Unser Fortbildungsangebot (German only). There, under 'Speexx für Mitarbeiter/-innen', you will find the forms Einverständniserklärung (declaration of consent) and Antrag auf Nutzung (application for use), which you should complete, sign and send to the Human Resources Development department: personalentwicklung(at)hr.fra-uas.de. (Please also take note of the information notice Informationspflichten.) HR Development will process your application and forward it to us at the Language Center. As soon as a Speexx account has been set up for you, you will be notified by email.
