Lectures

  • Prof. Dr. Wendt: The Frankfurt Forum for Interdisciplinary Research on Aging (FFIA) (German only) in cooperation with the GRADE Center Aging (German only) organizes a winter training session for young academics on the topic of "Ethics and technology in age research" on February 27 and 28, 2020 at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.  Dr. Wendt will lecture on issues regarding product compliance in the use of robotics and assistive systems and on the ethical guidelines for trustworthy artificial intelligence.

  • Prof. Dr. Wendt: Opening lecture on the topic of legal tech as part of the RHEINLAND-PITCH LEGALTECH SPECIAL (German only) on September 17, 2019 in Cologne. You can download the presentation for the lecture here (German only) and a video of the event  here (German only). 

  • Prof. Dr. Wendt: On September 6, 2019, the Darmstädter Juristische Vereinigung (DJV) focused the 2nd Darmstädter Juristentag event on the topic of "The Aging Society and the Law," which was held in the historical clock tower of the Technical University Darmstadt. Together with Dr. Ruppert, Dr. Wendt presented a lecture there on the topic of "Future Aging - Legal Challenges to the Use of Assistive Systems and Robotics."
