Erasmus+ Short-Term Mobility

Just a short trip? Inclusion is a central component of the current Erasmus+ programme generation (2021–2027). For students who, for any reason, are unable to undertake a long-term stay abroad, short-term mobility is a suitable option. The stay is funded for a maximum of 5 days and must take place as part of a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at a partner university or within a blended programme.

What is a Short-Term Mobility?

Short-term mobilities must always be carried out in a blended format, which is why they are also called blended mobilities. A blended mobility is a combination of a physical mobility of varying duration (short-term mobility 5–30 days) and a virtual phase that takes place before, during (accompanying, not as an interruption), or after the physical mobility. The goal is to facilitate collaborative online learning exchange and teamwork. The virtual component can, for example, bring together learners from different countries and fields of study online to attend courses or work jointly and simultaneously on tasks that are recognized as part of the final assessment.

For teaching staff at Frankfurt UAS

Are you a teaching staff member at Frankfurt UAS and would like to organize a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Frankfurt or plan a blended mobility? Or would you like your course to participate in a BIP at a partner university?

Are you a student at Frankfurt UAS?

Currently, Frankfurt UAS only supports individual BIPs and short-term programs. There are no calls for proposals like those for long-term activities. Only selected students can participate in this type of activity. If you are planning to take part in a short-term mobility soon, the following section is relevant for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Short-Term Mobility team.
