[Let's talk together] Moving from China to Germany gave me more than just a change of address — it gave me two completely different perspectives on how life, study, and work should fit together. In this talk, I’ll share my experiences as both a student at FRA-UAS and a team member at TalkBar, reflecting on the contrasts I’ve seen. From the intensity of China’s study culture and long working hours to Germany’s focus on leisure, personal time, and flexible academic life — I’ve learned that balance looks very different depending on where you are. I’ll also speak about my own journey of trying to juggle lectures, part-time work, and social life here in Frankfurt, and what I’ve discovered about finding balance as an international student. This session is not just about my story — it’s an open invitation to think about your own approach: Do you work to live, or live to work? Let’s discuss what balance means for our future careers and daily lives.
