Dual Career for Excellent Specialists
With the collaborative professorship, scientists with a doctorate and practical experience at the Frankfurt UAS can take the next step in their career. They work 50 percent each at our university and in the private sector, for an association or an authority. Everyone involved benefits from this division:
- excellent specialists do not have to choose between science and practice, but can further develop their career in two ways
- companies are given more scope to promote their employees
- the Frankfurt UAS guarantees its students application-oriented and practical teaching at the highest level
The collaborative professorship is usually limited to three years and can be extended by a further two years. The university-side remuneration is based on the level of the W2 professorships.
