Information for students of Business Information Systems (M.Sc.)

Students of Business Information Systems can find important information about the course of study and for instance the examination regulations on this page.

The degree course entails the following fields of study in the first and second semester:

  • Information systems with lectures on consulting, IT governance, IT mobility and enterprise architecture engineering.
  • Data science with lectures on data engineering, data mining, predictive analytics, as well as simulation and optimization.

All lectures (each 5 ECTS credits) entail high-quality practical lab units and seminars for the application in practice and intensification of the acquired knowledge. Two large project modules (each 10 ECTS) allow a deepening of knowledge in both fields of study, which can be combined with the six-month long master's thesis (30 ECTS), if required, to a three-semester long research project.
