Description of the study program

You can only manage what you measure. Do you have a knack for data-driven management and a strong desire to drive things forward? With these specific skills, you can go far. Understanding accounting and finance is one of the core responsibilities of business leadership. In this program, you will learn to make sound financial decisions in a wide variety of contexts. The focus is on addressing current challenges in business practice. We combine this with a project-oriented approach and deepen your knowledge in the areas of investment management, corporate valuation, controlling, and accounting. The topics of sustainability and digitalization are of particular importance. You will learn the necessary tools for this, including the use of artificial intelligence. In addition, interdisciplinary and social skills are particularly encouraged.

Career prospects

This master’s program prepares you for a position of responsibility in corporate management, investment banking, consulting, or auditing. Experts in financial corporate management continue to be in high demand in the job market and have excellent and exciting career opportunities in business, academia, and research. The option of an academic career leading to a Ph.D. is also open to you.

Study structure

The program is designed to last three semesters. The program’s focus and case studies cover capital markets, investment management, corporate valuation, and accounting in particular, with an emphasis on digitalization and sustainability. In addition to the selection of current and relevant topics and the high proportion of case-based problem-solving, your daily academic life will be enriched by close collaboration with selected companies.
