Description of the degree program

Excellent specialization options equip students for challenging tasks in business. The "classic business administration degree" enjoys great popularity and is still extremely valued by the business sector. Beyond a comprehensive basic education, there are no limits to specialization intentions that match your inclinations and abilities. For this purpose, Frankfurt UAS offers you a diverse range of study foci, attractive elective modules and, within the framework of the Interdisciplinary Studium Generale, topics that are up-to-date in the industry and promote your far-sightedness. A practical semester in a company and the opportunity to study for several semesters at a European or non-European partner university round off your studies with us. Whichever business sector you decide to enter in the future, we will prepare you for it in every respect, both in theory and practice,

  • to think in economic, legal and social categories,
  • to adapt quickly to the specific requirements of your area of responsibility,
  • to make appropriate and responsible decisions.

Career prospects

With this bachelor's degree program, you are ideally equipped for challenging tasks in business. Your degree in business administration will qualify you for a specialist or management position in small, medium-sized and large companies regardless of industry. Possible areas of employment and work will be found in marketing, materials management, financial services, production, insurance, sales/distribution, auditing and taxation, information technology, accounting and controlling, because the many different majors you can study in the Business Administration program will enable you to qualify yourself for later professional life.

Study structure

The degree program is designed for seven semesters. In the 6th semester, the practical training includes a semester of work experience in a company or a public company. In addition, there is the opportunity to study several semesters at a European or non-European partner university.

The first part of the program is characterized by the core subjects of business administration, economics and law. This is supplemented by an optional business language: English or French.

In addition to a comprehensive basic education, you can specialize according to your inclinations and abilities by choosing two majors from our wide range of courses:

As part of the Interdisciplinary Studium Generale, which serves to promote interdisciplinary thinking and cooperative action, you will come into contact with topics such as social media or quality management in collaboration with students from other departments.

 

Practical module included in the 6th semester - opportunities for experience abroad

A practical semester in a company and the chance to study several semesters at a European or non-European partner university round off the Business Administration degree program at Frankfurt UAS.

  • The Business Administration program comprises 210 credit points (ECTS) and has been accredited by ZEvA.
  • Upon successful completion of your studies, we will award you the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
