This bachelor's degree program prepares you for demanding business tasks. Your degree in Business Administration will enable you to take on a professional or managerial position in a small, medium or large enterprise, regardless of sector. Possible fields of application and employment are: marketing, materials management, financial services, manufacturing, insurance, sales and marketing, auditing and taxation, information technology, accounting, and controlling. The fact that there are many distinct disciplines on this course will allow you to qualify for a career of your choice.

Sound theory - put into practice

We will prepare you, in both theory and practice, for any entrepreneurial path you wish to take in the future. You will be able to:

  • Think in economic, legal, and social categories
  • Adapt quickly to the specific needs of your area of responsibility,
  • Make informed and responsible decisions.

The first stage of study is defined by the technical and methodological core contents of business administration, economics and law. These subjects are complemented by an elective business language: English or French.

Practical module during the 6th semester included – Chances to gather experience abroad

Apractical study term in a company and the chance to study at a European or international partner university round your studies at our institution off.

Prospects

You may take on a professional or managerial position in a small, medium or large enterprise, regardless of the sector.

Core electives & general studies (interdisciplinary modules)

You can also choose four elective modules from a range of more than ten relevant subjects: Data Base Analysis, Business Organization, Economic Outlook/Management Trends, Entrepreneurship, ERP-SAP and Business Process Management, Business Languages I–IV, Internet Applications, Intercultural Communication, International Management, Marketing, Business Simulation Games, Business Ethics, and Business Law.

As part of the general studies ("Studium Generale") (German only), which promote interdisciplinary thinking and cooperative action, you will come together with students from other disciplines to discuss topics such as social media or quality management.

Admission requirements

The degree course is admission restricted. The study spot placement takes place via a local NC procedures.

The degree course lasts seven semesters and starts twice a year – in the summer and winter semester. The requirements for enrollment are the applied sciences university entrance qualification or the higher education entrance qualification. The number of admissions is limited (for more information, contact the admissions office of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences Admission office.

Accreditation und Degree

  • The Business Administration degree program is worth 210 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits and has been certified by ZEvA
  • Upon the successful completion of your studies you will receive the Bachelor of Arts (BA), which will allow you to extend your education by studying a master's degree course.
